WMD Yellowcake Silence To Loud To Ignore

The mainstream media's recent omission of the 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium found in Iraq might be one of the most troubling situations concerning power and politics this country has ever known. In a nation where we all seem to be wrapped up in our Ipods, cell phones, computers, and iced lattes, there is not a huge out-pouring of thanks for the men and women who proudly serve our nation so we can have such luxuries. Most Americans could care less about politics and for maybe two months every four years, the apathetic tune in to the news to get an idea of the issues facing this nation and the candidates who have bravely decided to take them on. The question is how can they be truly informed when the media is so blatantly liberal and biased?  Does anyone know we are winning the war on terror? I keep waiting for the opinion polls on the war to turn around but I am not going to hold my breath on this one. The truth is, I don't think Americans know how well things are going and how close we are to winning and ending this theater of war because of the medias reluctance to talk about anything positive concerning the war. Surely if the New York Times believed that 44 consecutive days of the Abu Ghraib non-story deserved front page exposure then surely the discovery of yellowcake uranium in Iraq should at least make it once? Don't hold your breath on that one either. How is it every horrible mis-deed and tragedy seems to be just fine to report, but all of the reaffirming good news never seems to see the light of day? Survey says.........Agenda!

As I have mentioned in previous posts, we are winning the war on terror. It is far from over but we need to see this thing all the way through until the threat is completely eliminated. The lefts plan of pulling out all troops would absolutely be a disaster for a million reasons and the generals on the ground have said as much. Obama is in a tough position with his trip to Iraq coming up. Will he abandon his base and change his tune about the surge and what a success it has been? And will that in turn leave the door open to changing his mind about the way we proceed from here on out?

It will be interesting to say the least but for the time being, we have some more good news to celebrate despite what the mainstream media thinks. As I mentioned earlier, we did find 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium in Iraq which after being enriched would have been able to yield hundreds of nuclear weapons. Looks like Saddam had weapons of mass destruction afterall or at the very least was close to having them. But I wouldn't hold my breath on the mainstream media reporting it.

God bless the men and women fighting for the United States of America.
